Privacy policy.

The New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 requires entities bound by the Privacy Principles to have a privacy policy. This Privacy Policy outlines how 365wiz (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information.

This policy is written in simple language. The specific legal obligations of 365wiz when collecting and handling your personal information are outlined in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and in particular in the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) found in that Act. We will update this Privacy Policy whenever our information-handling practices change.

This Privacy Policy describes how 365wiz collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our IT support services, website, or booking platform. We are committed to ensuring the privacy and security of your information. We collect both personal and technical information to provide and improve our services, as outlined in Section 2.

At or before we collect personal information directly from you, we will tell you: who we are and how to contact us (see Section 16), the purposes for which we are collecting the information, who we may share it with, whether providing the information is required or voluntary (and any consequences of not providing it), and how you can access and correct your information (see Section 10).

• iOS 7 or Higher: Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Enable "Limit Ad Tracking"

Important Note: These opt-out settings rely on cookies or device identifiers. If you clear your browser data, upgrade your device, or reset your settings, you may need to reapply these opt-out preferences.

Safari Users: Please note that some Safari browsers may automatically delete opt-out cookies before their intended expiration. If this happens, you may need to reapply your opt-out preferences.

Cookie Management: For detailed information about managing cookies and tracking technologies, please see Section 9 - Cookies and Tracking Technologies.

2.7 Unique Identifiers (IPP 13)

We assign our own unique identifiers only where necessary and will not adopt identifiers issued by other organisations (e.g., IRD number) as our own, unless permitted by law (IPP 13).

To ensure that the personal information we collect is accurate, up-to-date and complete we do one or more of the following (where practicable and relevant):

• Record information in a consistent format
• Promptly add updated or new personal information to existing records
• Verify our contact lists to check their accuracy

Before using or disclosing personal information, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is accurate, up to date, complete, and relevant (IPP 8).

Of course, the accuracy of your information largely depends on what you provide to us. To make sure we have got your most current and accurate details, please let us know when your information changes (e.g., if you change your name or move house). You can easily update or correct your information by contacting us using the details provided in Section 16 of this Privacy Policy.

If you choose not to provide certain personal information, this may limit our ability to provide you with some services, such as:

• Processing payments or completing transactions
• Verifying your identity where required for security purposes
• Communicating important updates or information about your account
• Offering personalised support, recommendations, or promotions

We will always explain why we need certain information so you can make an informed decision.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Providing and improving our services
• Processing payments and transactions
• Communicating with you about services
• Responding to inquiries and support requests
• Analysing website usage and trends
• Complying with legal obligations

We will not use personal information for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected unless permitted by the Privacy Act (e.g., with consent or where an exception applies) (IPP 10).

We may send you service-related updates and promotional information about our products, services, discounts, competitions, and special offers that we believe may be of interest to you. These communications may include reminders, service announcements, event invitations, and marketing materials.

We may deliver these communications via email, telephone, SMS, mail, or other electronic means. You will always be provided with a clear and simple way to opt out of receiving promotional communications, while still being able to receive essential service-related updates. Opting out of promotional communications will not affect your ability to receive important service updates and notifications. You can manage your communication preferences at any time by contacting us.

We comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, including accurate sender information and a functional unsubscribe in every commercial message.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

We keep records of all privacy breaches and will take steps to mitigate risk and prevent recurrence.

We safeguard personal information in accordance with IPP 5.
